Scrap Winders
Two scrap winders are floor-mounted beneath the slitter exit table for optimum safety and are in line with the scrap edge cut to substantially reduce trip break. The winders, designed to work in unison with the slitter under tension, can wind trim and be adjusted independently. Hydraulic powered oscillating guides ensure consistent scrap buildup. A hydraulic cylinder powers a linear retractable arbor to allow removal of the scrap ball.
