Indexing Slitter Heads and Receiving Stations

This economical transfer head system allows a second set-up to be configured off-line and can achieve safe, two minute changeover time between heads. The system features two receiving stations and a fixed gearing housing to which the indexing slitter heads traverse on hydraulically powered trays. Optimal large diameter arbor design minimizes tooling deflection and run out. This results in improved slit edge quality, increase the ability to hold slit strip tolerances and reduces the necessity for double pass runs which can potentially double production.

Powered Tooling Lock-Up

This proprietary design is another pushbutton operation that allows an operator to lock tooling in place in seconds while eliminating the need for nuts, wrenches, grease, guns or hammers.
